Starting over

I'm really no good at this sort of thing, so I asked some of my friends to help me out and this is what they came up with... I’m kindhearted and considerate, but I also believe it's best if people solve their own problems and learn to take care of themselves, if they’re able. I've tested these positions over time, they work for me, and I trust them. I enjoy my own company as much as I enjoy the company of others. I like coming home to my family or my roommates; but if no one is home, I find quiet, solitary time to be just as satisfying. As far as what I'm looking for, I'd like to meet someone close to home, meaning in Maryland. And because I just ended a four year relationship, I'd like to take things slow. The best way I know to describe the type of guy I'd like to meet is that I'd like them to be like a teddy bear, I love hugs and I like to cuddle up on the sofa to watch tv. I'm not worried if you have some extra weight, because so do I. My family and friends are majorly important to me and I spend a lot of time with them, especially my best friend Scott, so I hope that's not a problem. I'm more of a homebody, but I like to get out. I have a lot of free time on my hands right now, so I'd like to get to know some nice people around me. If there's anything else you'd like to know, drop me a line.
