L.L. Bean guy in a button down world.

I'm the average looking guy in the L.L. Bean clothing who surprises you after you get to know me. I'm a bit of a nerd (I am a scientist after all), but I also have black belts in a couple martial arts. Looks can be deceiving as most people know. I alternate between spending too much time indoors reading, watching movies and staying up late exploring the bedroom and spending way too much time outdoors hiking, star gazing and camping. I am a great friend to a very select few. I hope I'm a good father to my daughters. I shuffle too much paper at work and do less science than I'd like. I have the place people can come and crash at when their life needs a day or two of peace and quiet. I am fortunate to have wonderful female friends to go along with my male buddies. I am currently looking for some land to build a new house on. I've already done the big house on way too much land so am simplifying and looking to build a more sustainable house on a smaller piece of property. I'm the guy that fits in everywhere. I am fine in a meeting with lawyers and high paid consultants. Yet I often find myself eating lunch with the blue collar workers. I am as comfortable with my female friends as I am hanging out in man caves with my male buddies. I am not the life of the party, but I am often the person that you end up talking to long after everyone else has left for the evening.
