I'm an animal lover and an avid explorer. I say that rather than "traveler" as I don't get to go many places but I love exploring the areas I can reach. I've been to most of the state parks and national recreation areas in Texas. I also enjoy exploring the urban landscape as well. As a recent transplant from Houston 4 years ago, I'm having fun getting to know the D/FW area and all its quirks.
On the more domestic side I'm an avid reader and music lover. I'm drawn to certain authors rather than genres. I've really enjoyed Frank Herbert, Orson Scott Card, Terry Pratchett, Stephen King, Stephen Hawking, Andre Norton, Ayn Rand and the occasional Piers Anthony novel/series.
Musically I'm into classic rock, 80's metal, Texas blues and some classic country. I'm learning more about progressive metal and red dirt. I'm very passionate about my music. I'm one who feels that life has a soundtrack.
