Looking for the purr-fect someone

Well, this has always been the entertaining part of it. I'm a mild mannered individual looking for that special someone in my life. Not that I'm looking for "someone to complete me", as I do believe that we're not on this world to complete anyone else. A healthy relationship starts with two whole people. I have the heart of a poet (sometimes even the hands and mind.. :) ) and a scientific bent. I am well read (at least I think so.. mostly sci-fi, fantasy, but I'll read just about anything if it piques my interest). I am a big fan of cinema (Sci-Fi, Adventure, Comedies) & music (almost anything - from Latvian folkmusic to classic rock). My interests are quite varied, and I'm open to new experiences. My tastes are fairly eclectic all-around and tend to change depending on the mood I'm in (or if I've found something shiny :) ). I am very sentimental & down-to-earth; a romantic at heart. Looking for someone with similar interests. I'm a good listener, but I can be quite talkative when you get to know me. It's best to express what you think & feel upfront, so you can appreciate each other's special outlook on the world. I'm a passionate man, who cares deeply about family & friends. I strongly empathize with people, and try to be supportive in any way that I can.
