I Believe in Magic

When someone online asks me about my body type, I use the Angelina Jolie to Kirstie Alley scale (the pre-Jenny Kirstie). According to that scale, I am more likely to have my own sitcom than ever hook up with Brad Pitt, and that's just fine with me. I would rather have laughter in my life than a box office hunk. So why am I here? Tired of hanging out at laundry mats looking for single men who need help sorting their laundry? The local grocery store won't let me loiter and offer guys with a cart full of frozen meals and snack chips a home-cooked meal anymore? I was joking about the laundry and store. I MUST find a man that "gets" my humor. I want conversation and fun. I might want more, but I don't want to burden dating with expectations that he has to be my one true love, my soulmate, or my future husband. Dating is stressful enough! I want a man who wants a real woman and relationship. Life and women don't come perfect straight from the box. Barbie does, of course, but if you are looking for that, talk to Mattel. A man who wants a friend, a gentle hand and kind voice in his life might find me appealing. A good sense of humor and a good communicator are musts. Affectionate, considerate, and kind will get him bonus points too. I like 80s music, science fiction, fantasy, history, science, but I enjoy every kind of music and books.
