Northern Girls RULE!

I am a Northern Girl who is temporarily living in the South. I will be moving to Alaska in May/June 2008 renting first then buying my own land to raise Alaskan Huskies. I have formerl breed Alaskan Malamutes and have a 29 mo intact male as the beginning of my breeding stock provided he passes his hip displaia test. I also have a rescue GSP who is neutered. I trin them in obedience and agility. Once the Malamute is 2 and has passed his physical I will begin to train him to pull. Imagine this the Northern woods on a crisp cold night, on sleds behind dogs of our breeding under northern lights, with silouettes of the mountians in purple haze glowing in the moonlight. Comming home jumping in the hot tub after a cold nights run. The work is hard and the running is dangerous at times but..... lots of fertilizer for the flowers;) Hiking the mountains, rafting the rivers, skiing, hunting for and growing our own food (Yes it is possible in ALaska) snowmachining, cleaning dog sh*!, taking care of puppies, traing teams. This is the life for me. I've been there, I've done it, and I am comming home. This life is a partnership in the truest sense of the word. I have 4 daughters 19, 17, 15 & 13, one who has been reunited with me, and lives near by with her fiancee. The others are still living apart from me. (will explain to the right person).
