Positive, semi-spiritual, affectionate, generally upbeat person who focuses on the good things in life. I grew up on the beaches of Santa Cruz, CA, so I tend to embrace diversity, believing it to be the true measure of any culture. I appreciate and love nature. I try daily to maintain a Zen attitude towards most things and am grateful for what I have, rather than beat myself up over what I lack. I am energetic, well-adjusted, freakishly intuitive, self-motivated, driven, logical and love the excitement of trying new things. I can be funny at times, I can be serious when the situation requires it. I am sensitive, yet brutally honest and I believe that it should be our friends who tell us what we sometimes need to hear, even though it hurts to hear it. I am understanding, but not naive. Most of all, I can laugh at myself and the world around me, all the while not taking this thing called life too seriously. Last books I've read: Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer, book 6 in the Stephen King "Gunslinger" series and The River Why by David James Duncan. Other than that, I'm a single dad, computer tech, rock climber, disc golfer, skier, singer/percussionist and bartender/therapist...
