Piers Anthony is a favorite author of mine, too. I always liked Philip K. Dick for science fiction. Peter Straub is another favorite and not just for horror such as Ghost Story or Shadowland, but non-horror such as Koko as well. I recently read a fiction work by Sara Gruen called Water For Elephants that was good, too

Any fantacy readers here? I really enjoy David Eddings and Jane Lindskold. Both are brillant at making the characters come to life. I have just finished Jane's last of her 'Firekeeper' series (hoping that she continues the story). So now I'm off to try Jaqueline Carey's Dart series. This is a more sophisticated novelist, so I will be glad to have my pocket dictionary close by!

Dean Koonz is also a favorite author of mine. I am astounded at his imagination. Sometimes I wonder if that man ever sleeps, for his books are nightmares come to life! Has anyone read 'Out of the Corner of His Eye'? A very impressive story. I highly suggest that one if you like boundries tested. wink
