I'm sure there are lots of us that would like to hear the details of Mingles dates you have had. Go ahead, don't be shy, post it!

i have dated extasi, manny, hot, mostie, chai,flower pistol, lisa and a few others, but dont tell them, some states call it stalking, but i call it love.

I have 36. I've met alot of people from mingles at gatherings, but I did have a long distance relationship with one mingler. We couldn't hold it together for distance reasons and some compatibility issues, but we wouldn't have known had we not tried. Was an interesting part of my life. I've dated off other sites also, Christian Cafe' for one, but, again, distance is such a challenge and not being flexible at the time to move etc, etc. Since I've found the ONE, right in Great Falls and we've got a wonderful relationship and will marry as soon as we can get around to it.....lol. (By your standards it would be a boring relationship, but we're very happy with it...lol)

I wouldn't trade any of the friends I've made here and visit occasionally. Great people.

robbi, what I was most interested in was the very first date with a net friend you got along with really well on the phone, net, etc., but never met in person before? Was it scary, fun, as expected, better than expected, a shock, a disappointment, etc.......?

Well, my experience probably won't help you much. I didn't meet this person, start an online thing, then continue on. I met her at a gathering of minglers, so it was a group setting. A spark flew and the rest took it's course. It was fun, but of course I couldn't have had the jitters etc. because I wasn't going to meet someone specific, just a group of people.

I made some trips to St Louis to "date" a woman I met on Christian Cafe. That time it was specifically her. Great woman! I wasn't all that nervous because we had communicated alot previous to my going. I am of the opinion that I don't care what others think of me, so I kept that in reserve. It would either work or not and I had no control over whether it did or not. I had never been to St Louis, so at least I'd get to see the area. It worked out fine, but eventually we found that different lifestyles sometimes can't be mixed.

Damn, I thought I fell of the wagon, when I saw the bush with legs move across the yard...WHEW...HUNTER!!!! LOL....

Well I have met several from here. I talked with rogue warrior for over six months and met him. NIce guy, but not exactly what I expected, from his picture. There were no sparks.Clothes were wrinkled, had the smell of liquor on his breathe. But he was a gentlemen, not handsy, which I do hate.

The there was powerlifter,lmao, came in tomato red sweats and matching top,thought of the killer tomatoes, hehehehehe. First date and already wearing sweats. His first words to me I dont dress up for no one. Another one who pictures showed him weight lifting and bulked up. When I met him, there was no bulk on that body. Said he had stopped working out a few years ago. Had long hair, I went to touch it and it moved, the hair that is. Then says to me that was a surpise i was going to tell you about. too fking funny. At the movies he wouldnt buy me my own soda and drink. Told me, i like to share and im cheap. hehehehehe.

I have met Rollo, Lake Bum her husband Art, Verita and Hobbs, great people , so much fun. And Rollo makes the best nuts in town and is a great dancer.. yes i know you heard that a zillion times. hehehehe

I had a date with thumper, yeah i bet you thought he was bambi's friend. Talked for months.He lived right here in long beach. We met on the boardwalk, right away you could tell, he was talking like a chipmunk on speed. Couldnt let me get a word in edgewise. No spark, thank god, cause i would have had to duct tape his damn mouth everytime we went out. And looked at my hair and said i know thats not your natural hair color. But he was brought up a gentlemen cause i had all these sisters. okay.....

I have met quite a few doozy's, that stories you would be rolling over laughing so hard. But this is just life, and you have to laugh about it.

But right now i have met a great person. Im ying and he's yang, and we have great chemistry and loads of fun together. I enjoy being with him and talking with him, he makes me complete.

Well lets see... besides Hunter stalking me LOL I have dated a couple off of her. The first one came here on a train and it was like a 10 hour train ride (poor guy) but it was great! I was a little nervous but as soon as I was with him, it seemed comfortable. It didn't work due to distance but he's still a great guy in my opinion!

the other one, Green Dragon. Great guy for sure. Swept me off my feet and drove here a couple times to see me. I remember when he came the first time I was so nervous and excited, I kept looking out the window every 5 minutes even though I knew it would take him hours LOL. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was so worth it and more. We had a LOT of good times together and it was totally amazing! Things in my life though between my health and other issues at that time kind of got in the way and we split up. We can chalk it up to really bad timing! Who knows if we met at a later time in my life after my health stabilized and things got better maybe we would have lasted. I still talk to him a lot and I think he's a great catch for any woman!!

There was one more... but it was a horror so I won't go into too much details but it is real scary to have someone like that around and he was bordering on stalking. So ya won't do that again!! LOL

And now.... yep I'm single again after dating someone from my city for the past couple years so guess I'm back to internet dating LMAO

Just a question but if you are married then why in the world would you even WANT to go on a date with someone else? When I was in a relationship that I was happy in, I never even would have considered that idea... first of all, its just not right to lead someone on that way and no matter what you say upfront, if you agree to a date they are hoping for a lot more... and also, it would be disrespectful to your husband! I only 'dated' one person from mingles. That was ricklad. I'm not even sure he's still around. He didn't look like his picture, then again, his pic was him in a tux and it was 5 years old. I didn't make that an issue. He moved so we could be together. It was to soon, and I was as much at fault as he was. He didn't like where he was at the time and I helped him get out of that situation. It was to soon though, as I stated. Things didn't work out. He had no problems telling people I moved him and left him hanging. What he didn't tell others was, my dad got him a job, only to have him get fired for a no call no show. My parents and I helped him get a place to stay as well as food for the week, until he got paid, my parents gave him a little bit of money so he wouldn't be broke, and my dad offered to pick him up for work every morning because it was on the way, despite the fact he and I were broke up. We broke up mainly because he liked grabbing my arms and leaving fingerprint bruises and he pushed me against my dresser. I don't put up with that. I'm not perfect and lack of planning and not thinking things through on my part as well are factors in the relationship. I'm sure net relationships can be great. Mine wasn't.
