Back in 1984 we decided to pull up stakes and move to paradise. After a long search, the mountains of SW Montana stood out as "The Last Best Place". We've lived here ever since. Deer and elk hunting every fall. Snowmobiling and skiing deep mountain powder all winter long. Hiking, fishing, swimming and motorcycling all summer. (Spring is the only off season = cold & wet. So we partied in the desert in spring.

For your information sideburns, Israel has a very unstable political situation. The country is about 50/50 divided between ultra-liberal-socialists and conservatives. There is a constant political war going on between the two ideologies.

But........now that we are retired, we spend winter and spring partying in the sun on and near South Padre Island, Texas. Think of the Corona Beer commercials, the beautiful beach, the warm sunshine, palm trees, nobody there but us! That's S.Padre!!!

math error:

38whoeveritis previously made many posts regarding hishertheyit spouse's involvement in all the race issues that were specifically mentioned to have happened after 1991.

but now, heshetheyit36 posts that the retirement was in 1984 (when hesheitthey were only 24)

go figger'

(it's the NudeMath, a prerequisite for NudeMensa)

Wrong again, math wiz! I never said I retired in 84. Rather, I moved to MT in 84! I started wintering in S.TX AFTER I TOOK EARLY RETIREMENT in 05.

Been seriously thinking about Costa Rica. You can apply to be a "resident alien" as long as you can show that you have at least $600 a month income. So SSI should take care of that.

Cristo: The pristine mountains of MT, and the nearly deserted 35 miles of beaches on S. Padre, sure do make LA look like the hell hole it is. Never regreted moving, even though the big money is in the big cities.

Chase your dreams! We did, and loved it! And still do.

Rollo, I have been to Costa Rica many times. If you need some info let me know. One thing that I can tell you here, is that there is an English language newspaper called Tico Times. You can have it delivered to you house. You can probably find info about it on Google.

Rollo, another thing that I remember is that there is a weekly or monthly meeting of Americans and Canadians in San Jose. The main purpose is to share experiences and information about Costa Rica. The schedualing of this meeting is posted in the Tico Times. FYI, my favorite place is near Dominical. Its a hotel called La Parcela. Dominical is very laid back. It is a bit off the beaten path. If you go, buy the Lonely Planetguidebook. Visit the thorn tree forum at www.lonelyplanet.com. First night , stay in the 1914 hotel. It is in Alejuela, near the airport.

sorry to say that would be impossible - when you have no expectations of some idiot profile here on mingles, it's kind of hard to "disapoint"

maybe "underwhelmed" would be a better description

El Valle de Anton in Panama is very nice. It's the centre of a an extinct volcano, high up enough in altitude that it is not overbearingly hot during the day. The Panama people are very friendly and laid back.

panama is a GREAT place with a GOOD economy and a nice "stepping-stone" to go and visit a lot of close adjoining latino countries

and like costa rica, getting some sort of citizenship or visa is very easy (even dual-citizenship)

36-52-60...are you kidding? You ignorant fool. I can't believe you would bring up 9/11 in a completely irrelevant, and ridiculously disproportional context. What do the victims of 9/11, NYPD and FDNY have to do with the fact that I can't stand your childish, self-centered, pathetically insecure and gratuitously sexual postings? Only a complete moron would make such a statement. How dare you dishonor those people. I never said anything crass or vulgar. I may have used adult language, but all in the context of what we were discussing. If you hadn't childishly deleted my postings, you and everyone else would know that. Man, you have rached a new low...I hope you're proud of yourself.

36-52-60...So call me a dishonorable scumbag. Why would you instead feel the need to bring up 9/11 and its victims in such an insignificant context? I don't represent those poor souls. You are an idiot for trying to dramatize your point by leveraging a horific event. Grow up. Go make another moronic post about your boobs and how you love to sunbathe nude.
Search even deeper... who are you looking for exactly?
