Just beggining to wonder if they really exist...I mean everywhere I go available guys near my age seem to be looking for way younger women...no wonder some women lie about their age. I mean I have preferances myself but, they are mostly based on personality.

My 2 cents

I'm 50 and I'm active and I like to do things. I bicycle around the city, play volleyball and softball. I get this feeling that when guys and gals get into their 30's/40's the sedate gene begins to set in and they start to nest, hang in bars, take cruises or become apartment dwellers. No sense of adventure or intellectual curiosity. So the natural inclinations is to look for 20s and early 30s partners before people slow down or feel they're suppose to slow down.

I think most men fall for the Hollywood lie of any older guy with money can have the dumb blond, Most of us who are in there 40's, know that's not true! I also would like to be able to talk to a woman with out having to explain what an 8 track was. or that for cut and paste, you needed sheers and glue at one time.

Woman are just like men, we get to that age where we want someone younger, it is normal and a fact of life. But it is true, as men get older and older, they keep looking for younger woman, So dont worry foxfairy, the men always come back around to the real women, see, looks dont last forever.

Men are just like women, we want intelligent mature conversation and wonder why anyone would want to baby sit. It is a fact. As people mature they want mature relationships. Little girls and boys always crave new toys.

Even when I was 20, I couldn't hardly deal with younger guys- I tried it once, and it only reinforced my reasons for not wanting to deal with anyone younger than myself, or at least, not much younger- (not the same life experiences, what we wanted out of life was a chasm as big as the age difference, lol, and to top it all off? He was immature to begin with- serves me right- LOL)

I much prefer someone I have things in common with, that I'm on the same page with, and that has relatively the same life experiences I have- truth of it is, I don't know what some people have in common with someone who is 10, 15, or 20 years younger, but then, that's just me-

Some women in their 20's seek out older surgar daddies for the obvious reasons men fall for it.

It would be great to find someone your age since you would have more to talk about although with age comes life's experiences and sometimes bitterness which is shared as a trait in both sexes and in women it comes off as being controling which is typically not a desirable trait.
