I never called you a name. I was nice to you and you attacked me. Deal with it. I still have not degraded you as you have myself and others here.

, star, crane....) and i enjoy talking to you guys and everything and i see where you are coming from hunter, i would do the same thing if i was there when it happened! I just read some of the things that was on there from this sexy guy and another one and things that they said was like wow! no wonder you all attack him, and the comment wasnt made to you guys in general....

Me, I have to truly believe in something to fight. I don't believe in this type of name calling. Call someone a moron, an idiot, a dufus... no problem. The N word, C word, slut and whore are just out for me. There are a few other terms that I would not use nor do I want to see them in print.
I would repost Pedro's posts but they are considered around here as borderline child porn. Even with that said, the parents involved would be hurt all over again and I do not want to be the one that does that to them.
Pedro was banned for it and he knows why. He rewrites history so new people will accept him.
No one involved walks away clean. Our real friends around here know us enough to realise when we think something is worth fighting for, we will. When we think fighting is a waste of time and energy and the collateral damage that could happen, it just isn't worth it.
I wish we could all get along, but that is a pipedream...

like the outside rearview-mirror of your car says (to an extent) ....
"CAUTION: Objects in mingles like to appear bigger than they are"

There are those of us who have been on here, like, forever...don't let the date of my joining fool you, this is one of umpteen profiles I've had on this site, and I've been here since 99-a lot of us have had go-rounds with a lot of other old timers on this site, so we pretty well 'know' them, without having ever met them in person- although a lot of people have met in person as well, and I married someone from this site.
ANYway.....
There are the really nasty ones on here, the ones who go around spewing (typewritten) verbal vomit, who say THE nastiest things, the shocking things, the things that most others just wouldn't say...and I would venture a guess that they say these things purely for the shock value, and because their lives are probably mundane, boring, milquetoast, you name it- and this is the way they insert a little excitement into their humdrum lives. Then there are those who police the nasty ones, who like to come across as if they are mother/father theresa incarnate- those who are (in their own minds, as in 'legends'..)sensible, upstanding, do-gooders, fair, etc., etc., ad nauseum--it gives them a sense of....well, my guess would be, purpose in their lives, perhaps making them feel that they are far more (insert all of the 'sensible, blah blah blah words here)than they actually are in real life- online, there are a lot of people who can pretty well lay on a persona of something that they more than likely aren't- and for a while, they may convince others that they really ARE the way they portray themselves to be- but of course, once a person starts interacting with them, that golden patina starts to tarnish, and of course what they really are comes out-
And then...there are people like the rest of us---myself as an example-I am what I am, I don't come across like something I'm not, and damn the torpedoes at those who don't like me, or whatever- I'm honest as the day is long, and there are a lot of people on this site who are the same- best bet, seek those out- and leave the nasty ones and the pseudo do-gooders to themselves, to do what they do best: shock, and save- shock, and save.
Can you say B O R I N G?????
I don't come in a whole lot anymore, and for the very reasons mentioned above- I have a life outside of mingles!

"tiger butter"
google it - you'll find it...... a chocolate lover's dream (and so easy to make)
1 pound white chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Microwave white chocolate in a large microwave-safe bowl on medium until melted, about 5 minutes.
Add peanut butter and microwave on high for 1 minute; stir until smooth and creamy.
Spread mixture into a 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan lined with wax paper.
In a small microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate chips on medium for 2 minutes.
Drizzle over white chocolate. Cool until firm.
Makes 32 pieces.

Good post, Mostie! Couldn't have said it better myself and I agree 100%

she got the recipe from her HUGE (old) "southern" (arkansas) mother-in-law
I've been addicted to it ever since
and OMG the variations (almonds, ammaretto, dip a "pecan sandie" in it, yada yada yada)

I just didn't have the recipe nor ever bothered looking for it. I agree and this one needs to be posted onto it

after living in the "south" for 13 years and NEVER had it, I was PIZZED!!!!!!!!!!
and when I asked my niece for the recipe, she said she couldn't give it to me and had promised her mother-in-law to keep the recipe a family secret!
I'm like like WTF?????? Is it something them southerners' only share at their Annual Incest Festivals???
then............. I googled it and LAUGHED MY AZZ OFF!!!
(Results 1-10 of about 2,870,000 for tiger butter)

Fattening, too- lol-
But hey...I could go under a bus tomorrow, and then I would wish I had eaten that piece of cheesecake, or tiger butter, or...(except the bus system in michigan is laughable, I don't think I have even seen one around hardly at all...of course, with the road rage here, I could be hit by an irate driver, pissed because I dared to cross the road at the crosswalk while the 'walk' sign was on..lol)

yeah, it was a "bus station" but more than that, it was a place to stop and eat at his cafe/diner (which was the whole point of Greyhound Bus Stations back in those days)
and they made fresh donuts all day long (the fried cake donuts and "old fashioneds" that were so good) - They also had a "Sullivan's" ice-cream and soda shop inside (I don't even know if Sullivan's Dairy is still in business, you'll have to ask the captain)
after 1972, they stopped with the bus-station/diner/cafe thing and moved to vending machines
He passed away shortly after that but the "bus station" (without the cafe, just the vending machines) stayed in the family for years

and she thinks this tiger butter thing is lookin good.......thanks Cristo....
Yesireeee!!!!!

"we"?
