Some good points. Not sure I agree with everything but most are good things to consider. I guess a lot depends on what BOTH are looking for in a relationship.

Myself.... maybe life as a "Sugar Free" Daddy! wink

Ok, this is a matter that goes to the heart of what I am. I personally do not find people especially women of my age the least bit attractive. Superficial, you bet. I have always looked at least ten years younger than any of my friends the same age since we hit thirty. I find that about 30 to 40 percent of people 15 to 20 years younger than me are attractive to me. Women my age that drops to about 1 percent. My EX was 16 years younger than me and her mother was 2 days older than me. Her mother is not a bad looking lady but I could no more find her attractive than I could when we met. I was married for 17 years so she was actually younger than my EX is now when we met. It is only the shared experiences with my wife that makes her still attractive in my eyes because I think that if I didn't know her and passed her on the street I would never even look twice. I have women friends my age and even the thought of having an intimate relationship with them puts my appetite off. I think this is part of our genetic attempt to carry on our genes. There will always be the drive to find a mate that is in the prime reproductive state. Even when you know that this is no longer an issue our primordial consciousness looks for an opportunity to pass on the genes.

Or made I just like firm or semi firm bodies and every thing more or less where it was before gravity started playing mean tricks on it. I may not be in shape any more but I still out power guy 20 years young than me at work, I can out lift and out carry every one of them. I hurt afterwards but they will never know that. Most of the people I meet think that I am in my early 40's not 53. The hardest part is when I talk to people about my growing up. The situations, the bands, the way society was, that sort of thing tells more about my age than anything physical ever does. I never lie about my age but I don't bring it up either. Anyway I'm rambling and it's time for bed, (you know how old people are). I will add to this if anyone is interested, I would like to properly explain the way I feel about it when I have more time but I have get up for work in 4 hrs. ttyl

I prefer dating around my own age group. I have found I want a woman that knows what she likes and is not afraid to say so.

earthy, I dont think you need to explain anything more than you already have...your profile is contradictory to your post, but than again I guess you have a right to change your mind too. It's a shame so many men in there 50's feel women in there 50's are just not up to how you expect women to be, but funny how men, who also have a problem with gravity at age 50 think they are great. Since when do we all judge a person by their body alone, how about what is inside, the compassion, the thoughtfulness, the caring of people in general...does that not mean anything anymore?? But then we still have the right to choose!!!!!!

The problem that all of you have, is that you aren't getting "IT", at ALL!!!!!!

HELLO!!!! TAP! TAP! HELLO!!! ......ANYBODY HOME?????

It's over with for you people!!!

I don't care what you think you look like or what you think you are!

Right now, instead of being in here, posting something meaningless.....

You should be thinking "Crossword Puzzle" and "Retirement Home in Floriday".....

And I've got some hot properties for sale in places like St. Petersburg Floriday .. complete with all of the amenities and warm lunches, including all of the chocolate pudding you can eat! And you know how hard it is for you old people once your teeth start falling out!

That's right Earthwyrm, in spite of what you may think, wearing dentures and having a back up supply of Polydent doesn't make you look any younger or seem any smarter.. At least not here on Mingles.

But we at Mingles are here to help..... because?... well.. We care! Those of you that are interested, please contract our "your over 40 and have one foot in the grave" agent here at Mingles. Her name is Flowerpistol and she'll be happy to take you on a guided, free tour of our Happy Holiday Mingles Ronco homes".

I like crossword puzzles and chocolate pudding! Sure would like to winter in FL too.

Being old and crippled up has its advantages. I get to park close to the door. smile

It's been very tempting to delete the fake's post/advice to our senior group. But I'm letting it stand as a reminder that there are plenty of gutless wonders out there. Mingles doesn't have the market cornered on that.

It's disheartening to know that there is someone out there, so miserable with their own life, that they feel the need to post crap like that. But I guess it gets them through the day.

I feel like this, first of all that is why I didn't put a pic in my profile. Not that I have anything to hide, I just think that today everyone judges people on what they have, don't have, how they look, etc. I am not a bad looking woman at 51, I can still wear a bikini, and mini skirts. I love to dance, I am a coach for cheerleaders, etc. I have a very young heart, my mom still tells me to grow up. But life is what you make it. and here I am, on this site. I am here to talk to people and make friends without any judgment. So. lets be friends and be nice.

One more thing, that's why they had to invent Viagra. Cuz guys my age can't take care of a woman like me. So I look to men 10 to 12 years younger.
Search even deeper... who are you looking for exactly?
