money is not everything!! cant buy a nice quiet evening on the couch watching a movie or a night of watching the stars....
I personally have been to that point where money does matter. I used to be married and we could barely feed our son or keep a roof over our heads let alone some of those things people regularly take for granted ie air conditioning, heating, running hot water. So before you complain about why money matters so much to someone maybe you should ask why it matters so much.
Maybe some women, like me, a single mom of 2, also has a budget and is only asking to find someone who she doesn't have to support too. Not looking for a rich person (maybe rich in love and tenderness) but it could be a give and take! I personally love to give gifts and surprises for the ones I care about but its draining when your giving to everyone else and not getting any love back. I'm not talking money needed things...even a handwritten note of thanx would be cool..it shows effort and that your kindness meant something. Hey get the kids involved..have them decorate or make something... I'll have you know its a fun thing to do!
HEY, in my book, if you're employed and can meet most of your bills, I'm ok. I would rather have a dirt poor guy who appreciates the simple things in life. I would not be ok with, however, if you were a slob, living with your mom, playing xbox all day, and not working...that's just yucko

HEY... Jacob...... not ALL single moms are money grabbers!!! i for one actually put guys off because im TOO independant!!! and to be honest.. yeah im a single mom but you know something, i have my home, my kids, and do as i wish... a man can only offer so much in my opinion.. and money ISNT what i want and im sure many other single moms out there feel the same! any guy who enters my life along with my kids... basically will be one hell of a lucky guy!!!!
