WHy is it OK? WHy do people make such generalized statements about behavior and expectations? Is it OK with YOU? That's the question. If you are saying that EVERYONE thinks it is OK, then is there really a question to ask?

Point is, I hear women complain about putting on make-up, panty hose, dresses, etc, to me. As if i give a crap what they wear. If i love you, i don't love you for what you put on your body or face. I love you period. DOnt pin the societal standards on me, and don't bitch about it if you are the one trying to live up to those perceptions, whether imagined or not. If you try to live up to them, you are as guilty as those who hold them. THing is, i believe that fewer and fewer individuals actually agree with those standards.

Now, if you really MEAN that question, of course the answer is, It's not OK for the guys... or maybe the answer is, It IS OK for the girls... or maybe they are ALL sluts, guys and girls. That's really the answer. Semantically, there are other words for slut, granted with varying and probably less negative connotations, which contribute to the negative light of a woman who sleeps around (as in 'slut') vs. a guy who sleeps around (as in 'dog', or 'gigolo'). Obviously 'dog' isn't THAT positive a word, but probably would beat 'slut' in a survey of words you'd rather be called.

Now, quit being so sensitive about a perceived societal idea. No one can win against that. All we can do is be true to ourselves and listen to our conscience. And, when horny enough and presented with a good option...Fool AROUND for god's sake!!!

Well a guy who sleeps around is called a stud. Instead of male slut. We need a new word for a woman who sleeps around. I at present can not think of one. However we all know that stud and slut mean the same.

I think the answer lie's in gender spirituality, most women who have lived or living very promiscus lives, usually breeds un-stabel children or raise degenrate families, women virtues are more impotrtant to societal moral comciousness,most society pride and self worthiness are built on women self-respect and their sence of family building,;,;{ not by pussy any-time any-where for any and every-one}..

When I was single, if I wanted sex, I got it. If I didn't, I didn't. I did what I wanted when I wanted. Never heard "no." Heard a whole lot more, "pleeeease! oh please... pretty please... please...please... but.. but... but... pleeeeeease..."

I was raising my boys at the time and was very careful not to involve them in my social life. Wasn't sneaking around or anything. I had an example to be for them. I wanted them to grow up respecting women. But sometimes the mom part had to be put to the side because the adult woman really needed to get laid. As long as I can respect myself, who cares. To thine own self be true....

I have raised my kids, I have been the good and faithful wife... now I just want to satisfy me, I don't think men or woman should be refered to as sluts - do what you want while you are young enough to enjoy it, when you get old, it's going to get harder... but at least you'll have some kick ass memories... sex is a part of life, depriving yourself of sex is only going to make you miserable...
