As I live in Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia most of my sailing is around the 'Top End' as it is called locally. I have done trips to Broome in Western Australia, Dili in East Timor, and around the Tiwi Islands. I'm planning a trip to the islands of the Eastern New Guinea archipelago during the middle of next year.
At the moment we are at the start of the 'wet season' when the Top End is subject to monsoon rains and the occasional cyclone. I'm spending my time doing maintainence on my 40ft steel sailing boat to get her ready for next year though I will do a couple of short very local trips during the wet.
