I'd say anything in the range of 4 to 8 inches is decent...smaller isn't gonna do it, and bigger is just not gonna fit. Girth is definitely more important than length...if it's the thickness of a pencil don't even try, and if it's more than a couple inches thick...it isn't gonna fit either.
