I Love Each of ya for each of ya are special to me

Pssst... I agree that we have earthly "angels" all around us - we just need to look and we will see them. Of course, they may be in costume since life is one grand masquerade party!
Hands, by Jewel
If I could tell the world just one thing
It would be that we're all ok
And not to worry because worry is wasteful
and useless in times like these
I will not be made useless
I won't be idled with despair
I will gather myself around my faith
for light does the darkness most fear
My hands are small, I know,
but they're not yours they are my own
but they're not yours they are my own
and I am never broken.

and robbie tyvm for what you said am glad ya can see

Judge doesn't ban 'God' in inaugural oath
He also declines to prevent ministers from praying at the celebration
updated 2 hours, 23 minutes ago
WASHINGTON - A federal judge on Thursday refused to order the words "so help me God" taken out of President-elect Barack Obama's oath of office next week or to prevent ministers from praying at the inauguration celebration.
U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton turned down a request from a group of atheists and agnostics to force Chief Justice John Roberts not to add those words to the 35-word inaugural oath outlined in the Constitution.
The group, led by California atheist Michael Newdow, also wanted to prohibit Obama's chosen inaugural ministers, the Revs. Joseph Lowery and Rick Warren, from offering prayers at Tuesday's inauguration.
Newdow, who lost a Supreme Court battle to get the words "under God" taken out of the Pledge of Allegiance, has failed in similar challenges to the use of religious words and prayers at President George W. Bush's inaugurations.

You shared a smile with someone that really, desperately needed it at that moment. Showed some kid how to throw a ball. Reached someone in a crowded room with a story or action.
You probably will never know what impact you might have had on anyone in this world. And maybe we're not supposed to know. Perhaps we're just meant to fullfill a brief chapter in another life without really knowing that we were counted on to make a difference.
Maybe you only have to look into the mirror to find a hero.

Rollo great point about the mirror.
Robbie great point about not pleasing everyone. In a perfect world maybe, in this one... another story.
Mlady, great song, but then you are the resident DJ!

An earthly angel = Betsy AND her husband!!!

(most know some of my stories so i aint posting any )

About 10 yrs ago I was driving home when I saw a woman whose car just went flat...so I stopped and helped her change her tire. She was roughly my Moms age. When I was done she tried to give me 5 dollars but I neither needed nor wanted it but I said if you go to church drop it in the box for me.
well about 2 or 3 months later, I was in UPS to pick up a special hat I had ordered and from out of the blue, this woman who I didnt recognize started by saying...."youre the guy...."
I have to admit, I felt a bit anxious being singled out but she told me that I was the one who changed her tire and that she had been praying for me everyday since.
I was really taken back. I believe in the power of prayer but perhaps in a different sort of way than I use to but, nevertheless, it dawned on me or rather I felt convicted that I had NOT been praying for those people who by chance or some other means crossed paths with me.
About the "so help me God" at the end of the oath. I feel that no matter if it was added onto a written oath or not(which was the argument the atheists made), its become a tradition and as long as he doesnt go as far as Bush has in thinking its his higher calling or duty to take this country into areas where the president doesnt really have the obligation, simply coz he feels GOD wants him to, then I'm fine with that.
There was alot of discourse and debate over the god idea for sure.
It was religion, as I understand it that the framer had so much fear of.
Freedom of religion but more importantly FROM religion. Otherwise, we may as well look to say Iran for a model.

i would just pray for others and then maybe things would be ok and i guess it works because i do get those heros and angels and i was given the ability to see them
for ya that want to cry http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bds_EiMX2kA
it is safe

When we verbalize those words, be blessed we have turned ourselves into a nation of people waiting to be blessed.....
The truth is......to be blessed, you first have to be a blessing.....somehow many have forgotten this little equation.......
