SO, lets get this clarified for the lame ones that like to post. We're not talking about a 30 something and a teen, that's lame, we're not going there, if you do, we're going to delete it. I am interested in a man that is 35 years older than me. My mom says it's creepy, but i dont see it that way, what do you think? two consenting adults way past legal age, does age matter?

no,i dont think so,except maybe in modern society here,it was common in other societies for a man to take a younger wife,even to the age differential you mentioned,

one thing that occurs to me as ive considered younger women however,is that i....statisticly as a man will die much sooner than the woman,and since i have no aspiration towards wealth,she would not be left in a very good position when i die,and also it occurs to me that if i had a younger woman,i would be depriving her of being with a younger man,so on my part,i think it would be selfish of me to take a younger woman,and not in her best interest in the long run,...though when they wag their tails at me,i often forget for a moment,and think selfishly...or dont think at all.

so...no i see nothing wrong with your interest in a man that is 35 years older than you,i think if anything,it shows some depth of character on your part,as long as you dont put him away when his advanced age makes him inconvenient to you

I have dated older, at the time I was 28 and he 44 and my last relationship he was younger and same amount of years.. I dont see a problem.. In my opinion age is a #.

The older man was so immature I would tend to say like he was 20 and the younger guy was so mature it felt like he was older than me.. It's individual is all..

It matters if you are planning on having kids. A child needs to have an active parent who is capable of being a good active influence. A child does not need to have a 70 year old father when he is 8-10 years old. But, to be fair, I have known 70 year old men that were doing triathalons. So I guess there is no fixed rules. But I have seen old men who cannot keep up with their boys physically. I just don't see this being a good positive role model.
