Another football season, and many questions to be answered. Will T.O. chit where he eats, and be booted out of Buffalo? Will the Lions repeat their perfect season? Was Manning, South Carolina named for the quarterback brothers. Stay tuned for another go at it. It is almost as much fun as politics. Here are the pics for the first week. Regarding points. If you pick the team with the points by their name, at the end of the game, you get the points listed. This determines the outcome against the point spread. This years winner will be given a membership in the Flying squirrel , global warming, BSers club.

Ok Folks, the way we are going to do this is carry over the winner against the spread to the following week. Nobody can beat the spread every week, so there will be lots of changes, and different teams showing up in the weekly picks.

As has been the custom this season, those teams that beat the spread last week determine the games for this week. New Orleans has beat the spread for 4 weeks running. They however do not play this week. Therefore well throw in a game with 2 new teams.

We're only four games into this season, and some say he'll burn out as the year goes by.

The refs sure have a bigger role in the games now, with the new rules protecting the quarterbacks.
I saw some 'roughing the passer' calls today, 15 yard penalties, that changed the course of the game, and probably changed the outcome of the game.
It will take a while for players and viewers to get used to it.
