i would like some of of you Americans to explain to me how you can America is so great. when you have never left the USA.

I personally know many Americans who have been to other countries...and they have all come home to America. Seems to me there must be something better here than other places if they keep coming back.

I've lived in Japan and Germany. Visited most of Europe, Korea, Canada, Mexico and Iceland. You could say I've been to other places. All said, I'd rather live here than any other place on the planet. I enjoyed Germany a lot. I was there 4 1/2 years. And over there, they don't drink cold milk.. I don't know why but they don't. They also put sugar on their popcorn (that was a bigger shock to me). But when in Rome, do as the Romans I guess. I learned to adapt and had a great time. I found them a bit more proud than rude. Also what I did notice is that when an American goes to another country, one of the first things out of their mouth is "Do you speak english?". I found that no matter how bad my German or any other language is that if I tried to speak it, the people were a lot more receptive to me and went out of their way to help.

We all have influences and personality traits. I would suggest that no matter what others do, I would choose to Do Good Anyway. Taking the low road or finding fault without solution is usually the easiest path to take, but not always the best.

It is all in the way you perceive things.......if you feel you live or are in a Friendly place and your attitude is of that nature people will respond in kind most of the time and the same goes for coming into a situation on the deffensive negative side. I do not believe I have never traveled and had a negative response or unhappy time. What you put out , you will get back.

I'm not an American but I love going to the USA and better than that - I love that the Americans have the ability and power to uphold freedoms that are vital to a healthy happy lifestyle such as the freedom of speech, religion, etc. Why are you living in the USA if you don't like it. Your parents had the courage to leave their country and so take courage from them and do the same - go to where YOU think it is right for YOU! Why complain about the place you live - when the problem is within you and your inability to find peace and happiness inside of your own life - regardless of where that might be.

48mrg... kind of german language is spoken in germany, switzerland and austria.But they call it themselves their own languages, because it is still kind of different. Also in different parts of other countries like belgium and around borders like to the netherlands... when I visit a country, I try to be prepared, that they don't speak my german language and even maybe not english language... in my opinion, the person who travels, hast to take care of beeing understood. Why should every country be prepared to service you in language and other stuff? Every land has its own rules and mentality... maybe this is new for you? OMG you are a fvcking moron! Get your facts straght you imbecile. WWI started in 1914 and there were Canadians on the front by 1915. The US didn't enter that conflict until 1917.

WWII started in 1939, and there were Canadians serving in Europe and Africa before the US entered thar conflict on December 7, 1941. We weren't backing up anyone! we were doing our part to rid the world of a major threat to world stability. The Allies probably would have won WWI without the US, but the conflict would likely have lasted til 1920 or 21. The Allies probably would have won WWII as well, but that conflict would have lasted til 1948 at the end of which the Soviet Union would have stretched to the English Channel.

As for our extradition policies, they have nothing to do with this discussion.

What kept Russia in the war was the frantic and courageous efforts of US, British and Canadian merchant marine who sailed the Murmansk run for five long years through a gauntlet of German u-boats and Luftwaffe bombers. It was materiel and munitions from the West that kept Russia in the war, transported and paid for by the blood of thousands of sailors from the west. It took all of the Allies to stop Hitler (Russia included); no one nation was going to do it alone.
