I love this site. Good people, forums and chat make this much more than a "singles" site.

On the down side, when someone "PM's" me, I have no way of knowing who the person is before I accept the PM request.

1 - A spell checker in the forums would be an added bonus! lol

2 - Allowing more than 20 one chat room at one time would be good too - maybe 25 or 30?

3 - Adding another person to the docking feature

4 - Is it possible to add a feature to stop someone from viewing ones camera without having to block them? There are times I would rather not have someone viewing my cam but I still want to be able to see all the comments being made so I can follow the coversations.

A good idea would be for the site to charge people $1.00 to view Pamela's cam.

A limit on the number of threads in the forums a person can start per week would be nice.

I put myself offline to avoid dealing with the PM issue. It would be nice to know who's there.

Scalable fonts in chat would be wonderful.

But in the end, I think it's very usable just as it is..

Checking into a few of the more obnoxious ads might help. there is a new google one that blows up the browser font and the ad takes up more than half of the chat page. There are also quite a few ads that cause my antivirus to give me notifications/

The IM feature is goofed up. When you are typing in the block it knocks you out when the other person sends a message. Just annoying is all

I like it that you are allowing 48 to stay on the site, despite the possibility that he is really 14 years old. He is one of the funniest minglers in a long time. We need more humor and laughs around here. He's funny looking too.

There are LOTS of fake profiles. I wonder if there is any way of verifying profiles?

I like mingles, been a member for years. What I do not like is the recent USA bashing by a couple of folks in these forums.... I will leave it to you to look them over and deal with the instigators.

well...mr.mingles,i know there is such a thing as freedom of speech,and all that hogwash,but...you know how small buisinesses often have a sign saying "we refuse the right to refuse service",and similiar things,i really cant think of any establishment

that would tolerate someone coming in just to harrass others,whose only purpose was to bring mayhem,disruption,and take away from the general goodtime had by all,because it would be bad for buisiness,and the people wouldnt keep coming around,its one thing for regulars who are generally decent to others to have disagreements with one another on occasion,but...when you have what basicly amounts to a little mingles terrorist,who is only intent on disrupting the site for everyone...doggone it we cant even go throuhg the dang forums anymore,and when we do..the mood has changed,instead of smiles and friendliness,we have to come prepared for a hostile environment...are you going to do something about it or what? what do you do about people who only come on here to disrupt the site?

A time and date stamp on peoples profiles too indicate when they were last signed into mingles and actively using the site.

Like you said Pamela of more people in each respective chat room, make it 50 per room if possible as 20 isn't enough.

I agree, if someone PM's you, being able to tell who is PM'ing you before you accept it.

Perhaps with the forums, being able too embed a youtube video too the forums post via the URL link or for that matter on your own profile for people too look at when they check your profile out. I know of another site that allows this, but they use different servers. I find their chat based server better then this 1 in its set up per se, but the people here are cool.

Also when posting a comment on the forums, have where it says "Add Your Post:", being able too choose what colour of font you want too use, whether the text be bold, italic or underlined and what about emoticons in the chat room and forums posts.

(In saying that, you would have to put in place a limit of how many emoticons can be used each comment or line of text in the room, otherwise it can lead too flooding of them).

That is my 2 cents worth.

And I would pay $1.50 too view Pamela's cam :P but if I were to pay over $2.00 is it tax deductible?

I have nothing but good things to say about Mingles, since this is where I found Captain- (going on our 3rd wedding anniversary- woo hoo!)I pop into chat once in a blue moon, seems pretty cute- I liked the days when everyone's pic was next to what they were saying, though- wouldn't know about webcam, even though that's my name on here (never could get back in to my Mostie profile...screw up with the password!)

Mr Mingles, any chance of you bringing back the old way of whispering in chat ? The new one is a pain in the A@@. The old one was easy. You just typed in what you wanted to say to someone and clicked on there name and it showed only to them in yellow in the room. I think an old veteran like myself deserves a little typing with ease.

Jump, I felt the same way about whisper... until I used it a few times.

(In fact I hated the whole new chat room at first, but now I love the improvements.)

Type the person's name in <brackets>, right click it and copy it.

Right click and paste it when you want to whisper, it will even correct you if the name is mis-spelled.

I find this new method to be easier, but I do understand your point.

I 2nd that one.... even if its my own threads because if nobody else replies within the first 24 hours there is no sense in keeping it up.

Oh, and more docking space would definitely be good, but I understand that would take more bandwidth and maybe even a faster connection clientside, but if you can make that extra space available for the paying members I am sure they would appreciate that.
