Ever since I have been on Mingles there has been someone somebody wanted to vote off the island.
Hell, on more than a few occasions it was me, lol. 
Many votes were cast. Once there were three separate threads supporting my banishment to internet gulag, lol.
Now, my own (unpopular, lol) opinion on the matter is that we can very much take of our own. You see, each time some undesirable comes along (adoni, 36, jihadjoe, 48, etc.), all we have to do is ignore the threads he/she creates, and (very importantly) delete all of his/her posts in our own threads.
But we don't do that, do we? Some time ago I was falsely accused of using a fake profile (remember 36?), I became the aggressor, the 'undesirable'... I learned a lot. Mostly I learned that 'we', collectively as a group, cannot seem to all get on the same page regarding undesirables. Now, in my case not everyone wanted me to go, because some knew I was being falsely accused.
But in cases where we ALL want someone GONE... why do WE continually communicate with the fool?

** A vote to have 48 gone would mean no communication with the fool in his threads.
** A vote to have 48 gone would mean deleting his posts in your threads.
** A vote to have 48 gone would mean things getting really lonely for him here.
I don't think we need to go running to Mingles admin every time we want to accomplish something. I think we just need to vote with our own actions.
