How many members of the U.S. house of representatives will change from the Demo party to the GOP before the 2010 elections? Make your guess here before May 1 2010. I believe several will change to save their slimy ass. If you hear of a turncoat, post it here.

I would guess they would turn Independent first. I'm not fond of any of the politicians. They are not in touch with the average person in this country.

I agree Bubba, let's leave it at that then. Any hack leaving for any other party.

I think you'll see the independents grow alot in the next few years. The two major parties are making total asses of themselves. I believe a percentage of Americans are waking up to the fact that it's not about them, it's about who can score the most points for their respective parties and get more control of government and the people. I've always been a conservative and of course leaned toward the Republicans for that reason, however over the years (last 20 or so) I've slowly distanced myself from any party and just claim to be conservative. I believe the independents will see a rise in their ranks. Conservative Democrats are going to change sides and since they don't realize there is anything else but two parties, they will go Republican. It's a safety net, since being out on their own is not safe and to get elected or keep their positions they have to align with people and independent is not powerful enough to align with.......
